Is Lovapep medical advice?
No. Lovapep is a tracker, a calculator and a reference. Nothing in the app or on this site is medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation, and nothing here recommends using any compound. It is educational. Always speak to a qualified healthcare professional before starting, changing or stopping anything.
Does Lovapep tell me what dose to take?
No, and it never will. You enter your own vial, water and target; Lovapep does the arithmetic on those numbers and shows you where that lands on the syringe. It does not suggest a dose, a schedule or a protocol, and it never tells you a dose is safe.
How does the reconstitution calculator work?
Two divisions. The milligrams in your vial divided by the millilitres of water you add gives the concentration. Your target divided by that concentration gives the volume to draw. On a U-100 insulin syringe, 100 units is 1 mL, so that volume multiplied by 100 is the mark you stop at. Try the calculator.
What does it mean when Lovapep flags a number?
That the arithmetic or the syringe looks off, not that the dose is wrong for you. Lovapep flags a draw too small to measure by eye, more liquid than your syringe holds, or a number that looks like a slip, such as milligrams entered as micrograms. It is a second look at the maths, never a judgement about the medicine.

What is the difference between mg, mcg and units?
Milligrams and micrograms measure how much compound there is: 1 mg is 1,000 mcg. Units measure volume on the syringe barrel: on a U-100 syringe, one unit is 0.01 mL, whatever the syringe's size. Mixing them up is the most common slip, and a thousandfold one. Read the guide.

On your device, by default. You do not need an account to start, and you can export or delete everything at any time.
